The 39th Annual Meeting of the Microscopical Society of Canada will be held at the Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, from June 5 to 8, 2012. The Scientific Program features invited speakers from the biological sciences and materials sciences. Short courses will take place on June 8. The social events will include a welcome cocktail on the evening of June 5th, a social mixer during the poster session on June 6th and a banquet on June 7th.

We invite you to sponsor and/or to exhibit your microscopy-related products at this prestigious conference. The strong scientific program, that will include world leaders in microscopy as invited speakers, promises to attract between 150 and 250 participants. Halifax is an excellent venue for a scientific meeting since the location attracts participants from across Canada as well as from the USA and Europe. This year, the organizing committee will make particular efforts to publicize this meeting in the Eastern states of the US including Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Maine, and Massachusetts.
